Rose Community Foundation

HCAC Foundation received a $10,000 grant from the Rose Community Foundation to educate the public about coverage, financing and access to care in countries with single-payer systems compared to Colorado and the United States.

The grant has helped to establish a statewide Speaker's Bureau with health care reform speakers at the ready to make presentations to commuity groups throughout the state. The grant will fund the reprinting of a new Foundation brochure, will enable the printing of new handouts for presentations, and will allow the Foundation to purchase copies of T.R. Reid's new DVD, "Sick Around the World."  2008-2009

Colorado Health Foundation

HCAC Foundation received a $15,000 grant from the Colorado Health Foundation to host a major city tour in Colorado with speakers educating the public about health care reform. The grant is funding a series of speakers visiting towns throughout Colorado, and also is funding the first Foundation Health Reform Summit in Spring 2009.  2008-2009
